Huifkar - Spirits Rebranding



Simplicity made elegant.

The new Huifkar identity has a contemporary feel that aims to freshen the spirit category at Makro Netherlands. The redesign of the brand intends to make it able to compete in a very brand driven space, as this is a typical category for well known brands. Part of the challenge is credibility and appeal.

The visual identity reinforces the offering of products with bold colours and contributes to a very visible brand presence on shelf. The centralised label construction intends to be elegant and an atribute of quality. The color coding distinguishes each drink type and helps the consumer shopping experience, contributing to a young, positive and vibrant presence in stores.

Framing it into the Makro Netherland's Own Brand values - Great in Price and Quality – the new labelling uses elements that allows it to be easily recognised and seen as an affordable alternative in the Dutch alcoholic beverages market.
